CROSS ENROLLMENT

CERRITOS COLLEGE AND CAL STATES

 

            As a Cerritos College student, do you know you are able to take a course at a California State University for only $10?  Yes, this is true, as long as you meet the requirements and you are willing to take the necessary steps.  This is an excellent opportunity for you, if there is a course we don't offer here at Cerritos College. Or, if you are nearing the end of your run at Cerritos and would like to "get your feet wet" on another campus before you officially transfer, what better way could you accomplish this at such a great price!

 

ENROLLMENT CONDITIONS:

           

             For you to be able to take a class at a Cal State, there MUST be space available in the class, and you must receive permission from the instructor.  You will not be able to register for the class until all students at the Cal State have had a chance to register.    However, don't worry about this just yet.  First, "Get Started" using the information below...

 

      REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Complete at least one semester at Cerritos College

  2. Enrolled for a minimum of 6 units during the "cross enrollment" semester at Cerritos

  3. Have earned a grade point average of at least 2.0 for work completed

  4. Paid appropriate tuition and fees at Cerritos College for current semester

  5. Completed appropriate academic prerequisites for Cal State course

  6. Must be a California resident

        HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Make sure you meet the requirements mentioned above
  2. Decide what class you would like to take
  3. Make sure you have met the prerequisites for that course
  4. Print and fill out the application (find link below)
  5. Take the application to Admissions and Records at Cerritos College, they will help you with the final steps.
